Depression More Common Than You Think

Depression More Common Than You Think

Depression is more common than you think. Did you know that according to The World Health Organization there are 350 million people all over the world that are suffering from this?  Broken down into percentages that's 6.9% all over the world. So as you can see if you suffer from depression you are not alone.

There have been studies upon studies concerning depression however the medical world admits they are very far from answers.

This is not to say however it's not controllable. There are medications that can help you live a normal life. The trick is (you HAVE to take them). For some strange reason many of us that suffer with this for what ever reason think we know best and don't take them.

I know when I first encounter this problem, this disease I was one of those many. I thought I could just as others say "Get over it!" Heads up you don't! You might have breaks in the symptoms but you don't get over it without help.

When you figure this out for yourself that's when you will get help and follow the directions of your doctor. Then and only then will you start living a normal life.

If you think or feel as though you might need help, it's better to be safe than sorry. Get help and do it today, there are numbers listed at the top of this page for you to get help.

Remember, there is  no shame in Depression
