When Someone You Love Say's "I Don't Feel Like Me Anymore."

When Someone You Love Say's "I Don't Feel Like Me Anymore."

If you have someone that you love that's said to you they don't feel right or like themselves this is a major red flag. The first thing you realize when you are afflicted with depression is you don't feel like yourself anymore.

When you can look in a mirror and know the outside looks like you but you don't know who the person is inside anymore, you have a problem!

For some reason people seem to think they will know somethings wrong because the person they love will act weird or something. Actually it starts out in most cases just as I said with something like the mirror indecent:

Here are some things you need to look for:

  1. Going from talkative to quite or,
  2. Quite to talkative
  3. Wanting to be alone
  4. Change in general mood
  5. Over eating
  6. Under eating
  7. Sleeping all the time
  8. No interest in things they love to do
  9. Repetitively doing the same things over and over with out change.
  10. In children watch for staying the room away from everyone
  11. Going from good or average grades to bad ones.
  12. Major change in moods.
  13. When someone tells you they don't feel like themselves anymore.
There are many different ways to tell if someone has a problem. But, if you don't suffer from it you will most likely over look it. There are many times that loved ones just assume that the affected person is just going through a bad time a phase if you will. In fact they are but this bad time they can't shake off alone.

Never be ashamed or afraid to talk to someone that you feel might need help. The life you save could be someone's you love.

There's always a light at the end of the tunnel even if you can't see it yet.

If you or someone you know needs help please tell or call a professional.
